Now and then I like to post a bit about the “threads” side of my life. Lately with dance costume deadlines looming large, all I’ve been doing it “threads” work. But I made my way through it and came out on the other side of this season’s craziness. After I finished those costumes, I got a chance to catch up on other projects too. This is one of them.
This is a temperature blanket. Each color is assigned to a range of degrees of temperatures. I crochet one row each day from the color the matches the high temperature of that day. This was Madison, WI 2016. It was a really fun project! I am planning to do another one this year but am looking for some new design ideas.
Do you crochet or knit? Aside from reading, it is my most relaxing hobby. I’m forever grateful to my grandmother for teaching me!
