January is over? Wow! That was so fast! I know I’ve been a lot quieter with my blogging this month. It is a very busy time of year for a dance mom! I had to finish up the costume sewing and we started attending competitions on the weekends. Things may be more sporadic here on the blog for a bit. I’m doing better tracking my reading on Goodreads though, so you can find me there if you want to see what I’m reading: goodreads.com/tamihunter
I also want to apologize to those who won books recently. I finally have them all ready to ship and you should get them in the next few days!
Here’s a quick recap of what I read in January. I read 7 books. I will need to up my reading a bit if I’m still going to make it to 100 in the year!
The Wedding Chapel by Rachel Hauck
Mountain Midwife by Laurie Alice Eakes
Thin Ice by Irene Hannon
To Get to You by Joann Bischof
Sandcastle King by Rich Wilkerson
God and Churchill by Jonathon Sandys
Anne of Green Gables, My Daughter, and Me by Lorilee Craker
I enjoyed all of the fiction, especially Thin Ice and To Get to You. The non-fiction were previews for my church library. The Anne of Green Gables… memoir was also very good, especially for those who have read Anne.
February can be a dreary month in Wisconsin. Lots of snow and grey skies. We will be traveling two weekends for dance. And I will turn another year older. I’m really excited that we get to go see Tim Hawkins perform later this month! Have you ever heard any of his comedy? He makes me laugh so hard! Check him out on YouTube if you enjoy good clean comedy.
February is also going to be an amazing month for new books! So many books coming out from some of my favorite authors! I am sure my reading numbers will go up this month! Here’s some of the books that have just come out that I can’t wait to read in February!
